Tenderfoot Studio / Chelsey Bassett
I moved to the Upper Peninsula in 2016 to study Art & Design at Northern Michigan University - there I received my BFA concentrating on Human-Centered Design. Becoming a metalsmith was never a part of the plan, but it became one of the highlights of my schooling. After graduating, I couldn’t stand the idea of leaving the Upper Peninsula, so here I remain enjoying the contrasting seasons, loving the locals and crafting with metal & stones.
